We are seeking an Educational Activity Support Professional (EASP) to work in our IDD program in Brooks County, Georgia. Under general supervision, Educational Activity Support Professionals provide training and support services to persons with developmental disabilities in a program which includes employment and community support. Must be able to work independently and maintain accurate, current Medicaid waiver records, which includes composing narrative statements for billing purposes. Creates activities and develops educational lesson plans. Provide transportation for consumers in agency vehicles to access community resources and other activities. Maintains good communication with individuals and family. Initiates educational training for adults. Performs routine sanitizing of environment and other duties as assigned in order to maintain safety regulations for CARF. Assist with coordinating transportation needs for consumers. Teamwork with other staff to provide the highest quality IDD services to consumers is essential.
