Len Stoler Automotive Group Is looking for an Automotive Shop Foreman for our Hyundai service department in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of technicians, ensuring a productive work environment.
• Provide expert guidance and support to technicians on complex repair tasks and diagnostics.
• Identify training needs and opportunities for team development, ensuring that all technicians are skilled in the latest technologies and techniques.
• Mentor and coach employees on technical skills and monitor repair comebacks.
• Assist with the recruiting process for new technicians, ensuring that candidates meet the high standards required.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services and transactions; oversight of technician payroll.
• Actively participate in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance tasks alongside the team.
• Work closely with other dealership departments to ensure cohesive operations and effective communication.
• Road test customer vehicles, with customers if needed.
• Manage workshop tools, equipment and inventory to ensure resources are available when needed; ensure shop remains clean creating a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Hyundai / Kia Master Certified.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in repair and maintenance; 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role to include (but not limited to) bending, lifting, twisting, standing or sitting for long periods of time.
