Project Associate (This is a remote position open to applicants residing in TX, NM, AZ or KS)
Job Description As a Project Associate, you will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities to fulfill identified requirements, including assigning resources and setting deadlines. You will track timelines and budgets for projects, reports statuses, and resolve or escalate issues as necessary. You will communicate the project scope, goals, and responsibilities to team members. Project Associates are responsible for scheduling meetings and developing the agenda. They are also responsible for preparing reports and impact analysis statements.
For continuous improvement, you will evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for change as necessary and may provide direction to the appropriate execution of a project.
Additionally, Project Associates coordinate the progress of subcontractors toward meeting deliverables. They are also responsible for scoping sales opportunities and project procurement management.
Requirements
2 years relevant experience
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills are required for evaluating processes, preparing impact analysis statements, tracking timelines and budgets, and identifying areas for improvement
Basic understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required prior to start date for all employees
