EMPLOYMENT TERM:Contracted Part Time
SALARY: Pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-2, in accordance with Kanawha County Teacher Salary Schedule ($47,887.20), commensurate with experience and education level.
EVALUATION: Performance in this position will be evaluated by the building principal/immediate supervisor and in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310 and KCS G48A.
Key responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lectures on veterinary disease, conduct hands-on surgical laboratory sessions, develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and practices, mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development, collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a comprehensive educational experience, participate in curriculum planning,assessment and accreditation activities.

Specialized Training (be specific): Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, minimum of 4 years of professional experience in veterinary practice, valid DVM license to practice in the state of WV, strong communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to high standards of teaching and student engagement.
