ISPA Technology is Hiring a Paid Internship - Inventory Control Software Developer Near Panama, FL
Location: Panama City Beach, Florida
Duration: ~3 months
Compensation: $15/Hr
Company Overview: ISPA Technology LLC is a dynamic and growing company operating an active warehouse in Panama City Beach, Florida. We are dedicated to optimizing our inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our team and contribute to the development of our inventory control software.
Job Description:Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand inventory control requirements and processes.
- Design, develop, and test inventory control software tailored to our warehouse operations.
- Implement features for real-time tracking, stock level monitoring, and reporting.
- Integrate software with existing warehouse management systems.
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on using the new software.
- Document software development processes, including code comments, manuals, and user guides.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with inventory control or warehouse management software.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and system integration.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Prior internship or project experience in software development.
