The Jewish Federation of St. Louis is seeking a Community Impact Associate to join their Community Impact team!

Requirements for the Community Impact Associate at Jewish Federation of St. Louis: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, Master’s degree preferred
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be agile and work with autonomy
• Comfortable with team collaboration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the St. Louis Jewish community or other Jewish communities preferred

Responsibilities for the Community Impact Associate at Jewish Federation of St. Louis:

Lead evaluation processes and tasks for the Community Impact Department

• Manage the evaluation reporting process with our local community partners and work with Federation staff liaisons to iterate procedures as needed
• Evaluate metrics and goals reported back to Federation from community partners
• Create materials for lay committee to help highlight a variety of successes and challenges from community partners
• Utilize data collected from community partners and from Jewish Federation to build the annual Community Impact Report

Engage lay leadership in investment and evaluation processes

• Support the education of lay leadership (volunteers) about our processes and responsibilities
• Work with the Director of Community Impact to create meaningful engagement opportunities for the Investment & Evaluation Subcommittee and its task forces
• Create and present partner’s materials for committee members

Promote and evaluate submissions for a variety of grant opportunities

• Broadly disseminate information about The Weil Interfaith and Inclusion Grants and make recommendations to approve or deny each request
• Broadly disseminate information about The Saul Brodsky Educational Resource Fund and make recommendations to approve or deny each request
• Work with a lay committee to help facilitate funding requests for Staenberg Anything Grants
• Facilitate the application and review processes for Federation’s College Scholarship opportunities and work with a lay committee to determine which requests will receive funding
• Facilitate other grant processes as needed

Develop strategies to further promote Community Impact data and storytelling

• In consultation with the Director of Community Impact and other key staff, develop strategies to advance the important work of the Community Impact Department so that it may be shared internally with Federation stakeholders, as well externally to our many Community Partners
