Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly manages the Enterprise Applications team, providing leadership, guidance, coaching and performance management.
Provide for the training, direction, and career development of assigned personnel.
Delegates assignment and provide leadership and on-the-job supervision to assigned personnel.
Makes recommendations on the recruiting, hiring, and promoting staff while identifying problem areas and quickly resolving those.
Provide feedback and guidance to assigned staff regarding performance through annual review processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Under general direction from the IT Director, this position is responsible for all activities related to Enterprise Applications, administration of the related technology tools and application environments.
Coordinates the administration, implementation, and documentation of a highly reliable systems architecture to support enterprise systems toolsets.
Monitors and maintains all relevant systems and composes related processes and procedures to ensure performance, availability, capacity planning, recoverability, root cause determination and problem resolution while developing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Develops, reviews, analyzes performance, and define KPIs to drive efficiency and/or process improvements.
Provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate approaches and methodology for data intake, integration, and preparation for analytics.
Establishes a data architecture framework that determines the standards and principles to apply based on current and future business needs while maintaining data within the framework and ensuring adherence to established standards.
Assists with the strategy for maintaining, continuously improving, and modernizing a data warehouse, data marts, and/or data latke(s).
Provides project management oversight and guidance to the team, establishing project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
Coordinates with other IT Leaders to ensure integrity, security, and governance of these tools in all stages of their lifecycle, within budget and in accordance HEP policies.
Ensures data elements, business processes, and reporting standards are defined, documented, implemented, and understood by HEP data users in collaboration with data governance teams or departments.
