As a Shipbuilding Analyst working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will be assigned as part of our technical work force to support Naval fleet readiness and ship modernization.

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, attend program reviews, and other milestone meetings
• Conduct ship and shipyard checks, create reports on findings to include quality, production progress, manning, testing, or related issues
• Assist client with risk and opportunity identification along with risk mitigation COAs
• Research and create subject matter reports as directed by DHS PARM in areas such as comparisons with other Navy and Coast Guard ship acquisitions programs, recommendations regarding COAs regarding major technical approaches or contractual actions
• Review and provide reports including recommendations regarding shipyard financials to include evaluation solvency, cost reasonableness and associated schedule and performance impacts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related field
• DoD Secret clearance
• 8 or more years of USN/USGC shipbuilding experience
• 8 or more years of experience with MS suite
• Familiarity with quality assurance, logistics, and ship system engineering
