Role & Responsibilities
•Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
•Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities.
•Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
•Inspecting the manufacturing process to determine sanitation protocols.
•Ensures proper Good Manufacturing Practices are always followed.
•Develops and maintains applicable records (EPA, BRC, AIB, etc.).
•Assigns and directs work of sanitation employees and any contract employees
Safety:
o Maintains safe working environment for all employees/contractors.
o Promotes safety in all areas of operations.
o participates in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety program.
o Participates in accident investigations.
o Promote employee safety in all areas of operations.
o Other related duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
Requirements & Physical Demands
•Ability to arrive to work on time consistently
•Five or more years in plant sanitation management. Preferably in an industrial bakery Effective written and verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated knowledge in pest control.
•Able to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc.
•Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
•Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift
•Working holidays and weekends is frequently required
•Must be 18 years or older
