Female Overnight Part Time Residential Support

Fulshear Treatment to Transition is a long term, residential, mental health program for young adult women ; 18-28. We take a holistic approach to mental health treatment, where we believe that healthy relationships and positive experiential moments guide our clients to transitions in life. Clients become healthy, secure and integrated young adult women . We change lives.

What we are looking for: We hire people not resumes. You may think that you must have experience in the mental health industry, honestly for Fulshear, which is not always true. We look for people who are passionate about helping others, who can make connections, and build successful relationships with our clients. What can be helpful for success (not mandatory): Experience working with adolescents and young adults. You are available for weekly and monthly mandatory meetings. Strive to grow and develop with the work. Self-motivated. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Consistent and dependable.

Some housecleaning items that are a must: Must be 21 or older. We provide transportation for our clients, so for insurance purposes mentors must be at least 21. With that being said a clean driving record, background check and clear drug screening are required for employment.

Job Requirements:

• Female (because it is an overnight situation in our client's living spaces)
• Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required
• Overnight coaches must be able to stay awake during their shift
• Available for mandatory, weekly team meetings and monthly program meetings
• Daily documentation
• Basic computer skills needed

Work Summary

• Providing safety and care for young adult women in a residential treatment center.
• Overnight coaches complete quiet checks on the clients every 30 minutes and create a safe atmosphere while the clients are asleep.
• Overnight coaches are there to support clients who may be sick or have a hard time sleeping.
• Encouraged to bring quiet activities to do if all the clients are asleep- crafts, studying, crossword puzzles etc.
• Complete basic chores and tasks that can be done quietly during the night time hours
