Family Service & Children’s Aid is Hiring a Prevention Director:
Looking for a person who is passionate about Prevention Services for youth and adults! No weekends and be done by 3pm or earlier on Fridays. As the Prevention Director at Family Service & Children’s Aid, you will provide the day-to-day oversight of Substance Use Prevention Programs. This position will supervise and support the prevention instructors of the various programs including JUMP (targets at-risk youth and adults), Breakout Drug Education (targets 6th, 8th and 9th graders) and Parent Education (targets parents or others raising children). The Prevention Director will help monitor performance of contractual requirements for programs and assist with contractual audits. They will assist with grant applications for our prevention programs. This position will facilitate monthly utilization reviews of program documentation and quarterly reviews of program’s dashboard indicators. There are opportunities for career growth in this position.

Qualifications for position are as follows:
● Master’s degree in social work or related degree, with 3 or more years’ experience with prevention programming, preferred, or Bachelor’s degree in social work or related degree, with 4 or more years’ experience with prevention programming, required.
● Has current CPS credential with MCBAP, required.
● Proficiency with Microsoft products and EMR systems.
● Program evaluation experience, preferred.
