Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our salon operations and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Assist stylists and technicians with various salon services, including but not limited to haircuts, nail care, makeup application, hair extensions, and hair threading
- Perform retail sales of salon products to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon
- Greet and check-in clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon's appointment book
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of salon supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the salon team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:
- Must be a cosmetology student, aspiring to be a cosmetologist or have previous experience in a salon
- Knowledge of color theory and basic hair care techniques is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends as needed
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance
