The Casey’s Place Respite Coordinator will provide support to the Administrative/Management team on a daily basis. Working with community team members of individuals under the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) wavier.

Responsibilities:

• Billing of Casey’s Place Respite services including navigation through Netsmart
• Attend Team Meetings, manage units and databases for all individuals
• Manage petty cash, gas card, receipts for the program; send to Financial department on Elmcrest’s main campus monthly
• Complete and distribute monthly reports (guest units) at admin meetings
• Manage and disseminate to FI/brokers monthly self-direction budget utilization (OPWDD)
• Answer phones and provide communication to the parents, care managers and stakeholders via phone calls, emails, texts and surveys
• Track consents, LCEDs, compliance documents and DDPs through Choices and report monthly
• Support admin team and other duties as needed
• Plan and attend intake meetings; manage intake spreadsheet
• Take meeting minutes at admin team meetings, monthly staff meetings, and quarterly Elmcrest required committee meetings
• Distribute satisfaction surveys to families annually; collect and review results/compile report
• Adhere to all program policies and procedures, and regulations as well as agency policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Program Manager

• Valid NYS driver’s license
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in office management
• Administrative work for OPWDD, HCBS or OCFS (preferred)
• Proficient computer skills
• Some college or certification programs (preferred)
• Demonstration of independent work skills with the ability to be part of a team
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Essential Job Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to sit, squat, crouch and stand for elongated periods of time
• Ability to lift arms over head in upward reaching motion
• Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
