POSITION: Evening Receptionist

REPORTS TO: Clerical Supervisor

PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour

JOB TYPE: Part-time

LOCATION: Erie County

$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS*

*$250 at 90 days, $250 at 180 days and $500 at 1 year

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Evening Receptionist is a secretarial position in Erie County. Performs receptionist duties including answering telephones, greeting clients and checking messages on answering machine. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize his/her workload and meet deadlines, and the ability to get along well with others is a must for this positon. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone etiquette are also necessary.

JOB DUTIES:

• Serves as receptionist, greets clients and other visitors, answers incoming phone calls in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensures that appropritate covrage is available at the front desk at all times.
• Conducts reminder calls for clinic appointments.
• Collects and secures counseling money and receipts from evening workers following appointments.
• Performs typing and transcription or clerical duties as required.
• Responsible for assisting counselors in the securing of the facility. Responsiblities including securing outer doors, ensuring appropriate equipment is turned off (copiers, coffee pots, lights) file room door is locked and closed, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required.
• Three (3) months general office experience preferred.
• Ability to proficiently operate computer equipment necessary.
• Advanced knowledge of telephone etiquette and Microsoft Office.
