Position Title : Youth Employment Specialist Reports To : Program Manager Part Time : 17.5 hrs / week Location : Bloomfield High School Your Mission : As a Youth Employment Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the future leaders of our community.

Your mission is to provide employment counseling to students, facilitate job readiness groups, and build strong relationships with the employer community.

Your dedication will make a lasting impact on our students' lives. Qualifications : Education / Certification : A Bachelor's Degree in a human services field is a must.

Knowledge : You bring knowledge of adolescent development, community resources, and group processes to the table. Your expertise will guide our students towards success.

Skills & Abilities : Empathetic Listener : Your ability to create a warm, non-threatening therapeutic atmosphere will make students feel heard and understood.

Non-Judgmental Support : Providing non-judgmental responses is essential for building trust and fostering growth in our students.

Counseling Skills : Your capacity to counsel adolescents will help them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Team Player : As a member of our team, your collaboration and teamwork are vital to our students' success. Advocate for Students : You will advocate for students with school personnel, ensuring they receive the support they need.
