Overview
The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor for Enerdyne Power Systems provides support to the entire Landfill Group. The HSE Advisor will work within the Landfill Group core values to ensure compliance with legislative requirements relating to HSE. This is a remote position that will require you to travel to our sites on occasion (up to 35% travel).
Job Description
This is a "hands on" position to grow and develop the HSE department, implement changes to improve Safety Culture and business processes and to position the Company for sustainable growth.
Support all areas of the company by coaching and mentoring supervisor and managers to ensure HSE expectations are met.
Provides administration of HSE system platforms.
Maintains an OSHA compliant training program for the company and provides OSHA training insight as needed.
Provide assistance and support to all the company teams to ensure compliance with safety & environmental objectives (during design, construction and for ongoing operation).
Develop presentations and reports as needed.
Provide both remote and onsite high risk task support to all sites.
Assist in onsite hazard identification and hazard reporting education.
Perform regular site visits, audits and assist in action identification and solutions.
Promote event reporting and further action close out.
Support company in risk assessment process.
Assist in incident investigations and incident reports.
Create companywide HSE communications for roll outs, system updates and incident communications.
Assist sites with Pipeline Safety Program deliverables, inspections, training, actions and oversight of the Program.
Deliver HSE system related training to all areas of the company.
Analyze event reporting trends and work with the respected team to action the trend.
Support Emergency Response Plan creation and drills.
Participate in departmental L10 meetings to communicate consistent HSE messages.

Ability to travel 25% of time.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a primary HSE role.
Experience investigating incidents and producing incident reports.
Experience managing administration roles relating to HSE systems.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Strong understanding of the function of an internal HSE management system and key elements of the overall system such as: LOTO, Training, Risk Management, Emergency Response, Contractor Management etc.
