As a Metal Panel Fabrication Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal fabrication processes. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled workers engaged in the fabrication of metal panels according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in metal fabrication techniques, and a keen eye for detail.

1.1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of metal fabrication personnel, including fabricators, and assemblers, to ensure efficient production processes.

1.2. Plan and schedule workflow to meet production targets and deadlines, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changing priorities or resource constraints.

1.3. Train new employees on metal fabrication techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

1.4. Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

1.5. Conduct regular inspections of fabricated metal panels to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

1.6. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

1.7. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, work orders, and quality control documentation.

1.8. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and design, to resolve technical issues and optimize product designs for manufacturability.

1.1. Experience supervising a team of 3-10 fabricators

1.2. CNC router operation, calibration, programming

1.3. Experience forming metal cladding from sheet goods

1.4. Experience with aluminum extrusions

1.5. QA/QC must be a priority for this position

1.6. Crating and logistics experience is a plus

1.7. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.

1.8. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, equipment, and materials.

1.9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey instructions, feedback, and technical information to team members and stakeholders.

1.10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
