Brief Summary of Duties:
- Supervise, coach and mentor a warehouse staff of 3 - 6 employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain employee records: weekly timecards, attendance points, annual reviews, write ups, etc.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Accurately pull IT equipment, verify, and scan items to create stock transfers and BOL’s.
- Store items in bins, shelves, or other specified locations; update locations, maintain stock, and notify appropriate personnel of all discrepancies.
- Work from shipping papers, bill of lading, packing slips, work orders and written and verbal instructions.
- Use hand carts, mobile pallet jacks and motorized forklifts to safely transport and load/unload parts and materials. Exercise proper care and use of equipment and materials.
- Perform warehouse duties in all areas of the warehouse and dock locations as assigned or directed.
- Effective and articulate verbal and written communication that is clear and concise.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience using basic computer software.
- Basic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy.
- Use organization tools such as internal computer software to locate and gather stock with handheld devices, and bar code scanners.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Preferred IT or relevant electronic experience.
- Forklift certified or willingness to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of how to use a shrink wrap machine.
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically, and the ability to make logical decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with others.
- Outgoing, energetic, able to multi-task, and able to prioritize workflow.
