Volunteers at Elysian Hospice play a very important role. They help patients and families emotionally through compassionate and caring support. They also deliver practical help by carrying out daily tasks and interacting directly with patients and their loved ones.

How our hospice volunteers make a difference

As an Elysian Hospice volunteer, you will join the ranks of people who do things like:

• Read to patients
• Play music for them
• Play games
• Help with hobbies
• Offer companionship
• Give haircuts
• Run errands
• Help with meals
• Perform office or clerical work

We are always looking for caring, motivated people with a desire to truly make a difference. This is your chance to perform a crucial service to your community.

• No experience is required.
• You will need to undergo a background check.
• You will also be screened for TB.
