Financial / Accounting Specialist

Summary of Essential Functions:

Education/Experience

• Accounting Degree Preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• 2 years applicable experience preferred

Qualifications:

§ Accounting Degree Preferred

§ Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office.

§ Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

§ Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.

§ High attention to detail and accuracy.

§ Excellent communication skills.

Ability to

§ Assist with the daily operations within the accounting department

§ Record invoices into accounting system.

§ Communicating with vendors regarding invoices.

§ Collect needed signatures and approvals for payment of invoices

§ Responsible for accounts payable checks distribution

§ Assist with collecting W-9s from Vendors.

§ Other duties as assigned.

Work within the Centers accounting software.

Take large amounts of data and compile into concise, meaningful reports

Duties and Responsibilities
