Culinaire in need to hire BARISTA / CASHIERs to join its Team at the Cafe Gio that is located in the Martin Building at the Denver Art Museum. This position is a great starting point to advance your career into other positions with Culinaire at the Museum.

The main job responsibilities for the BARISTA/CASHIER are as follows:

This job ensures service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. Customers and your Associate will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere.

· Meet and surpass the expected customer service by the client and the guests with the prompt attention, assistance with the beverage selection, and the timely preparation

· Prepares the variety of beverages per the recipes and specs

· Ability to give descriptions of beverages as well as recommendations

· Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner

· Equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist

· Responsible for completing various daily administrative duties prior to, and at the end of, each shift.

· Responsible for handling accurate and efficient cash transactions.

· Responsible for comprehending all prices as a result on knowing prices on menu.

· Assist our guest as needed for a pleasurable dining experience.

· Deal with customers in a professional manner, to the degree of which our guests are satisfied at all time.

· Complete responsibility and accountability for cash register drawer as outlined in the cash handling policy.

A few qualifications and skill set

· Two (2) or more years of barista experience

· Maintain a positive and professional attitude and behavior

· Carry, lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds independently

· Stand and Walk during the entire shift
