Culinaire is Hiring a CAFE SUPERVISOR Near Toledo, OH
CULINAIRE is hiring a CAFÉ SUPERVISOR for the Café located in the Toledo Museum of Art. The Café is closed on Monday and Tuesday, open 11am – 4pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and open 11am – 7pm Friday and Saturday.
A few position duties and responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the café
- Deliver exceptional customer service and develop strong relationship with repeat customers
- Assist with training new café staff on café operations to include policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory controls for proper ordering supplies and amenities
- Add new menu items to guest boards’ and computer platforms based on seasonality and
- Assist with customer concerns and issues
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in all areas of the café
- Manage strict compliance with cash handling procedures and reconciliation of the daily receipts
- Must ensure that opening and closing duties are completed daily
A few qualification and skill set
· 2-3 years prior experience with proven record of accomplishment in a similar café or restaurant
· Customer service oriented
· Alcohol Beverage and Food Handlers Certification a plus
· Extremely organized and multi-tasked oriented
· Computer proficient
· Carry, lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
· Stand and walk most of the scheduled shift with ease
