If this sounds like the right counseling opportunity for you, apply today!Summary of Job Description:The Compliance Specialist will oversee the relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations with the highest integrity, building and sustaining lasting relationships.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare billings related to each of the contracts on a monthly basis.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual contract related reports.Read and summarize contracts from a variety of funders.Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies as needed.Collaborate with program managers, and external funders on a regular basis.Provide guidance to directors and program managers to ensure contract compliance.Monitor grant expenditures and provide reports to directors and program managers as needed.Provide information to directors and program managers to prepare them for grant renewal processes.Manage program data as needed for reports.Administer grant records and evaluate financial reports to analyze all annual progress and review grant expenditures.Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results compared to forecasts.Maintain records of all payments, manage all change requests, perform research on all grant issues, and prepare monthly records for all grant-related activitiesWork closely with the Grants Manager to monitor program budgets and expenditures, ensure an effective program, and provideGrant planning and coordination, research and writingComplete other projects as determined by the Compliance Manager, Director of Finance or Executive Director.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's DegreeAt least two years' contract management or accounting experience (preferably in the public or nonprofit sector)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel expertise a plus; experience with any accounting software also a plus)Excellent written communication skills (such as the ability to edit reports)Strong interpersonal communication skills (such as the ability to convey complex information across all levels of the organization)Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of peopleBudgeting experienceAbility to manage daily task and meet funders and grants deadlinesAbility to complete written reports to funders, public officials and stakeholdersAbility to conduct staff time cost allocationLeadership abilitiesAbility to seek and create resourcesAbility to manage multiple federal, state and local grants at the same timeAbility to represent the agency during public meetings and events during work hours, after hours and weekendsWORK SCHEDULEThis full-time position works a typical 8 hours a day between 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.SALARY RANGE$ 60,000 - $ 70,000 a year depending on experience, qualifications.READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?We understand your time is valuable, so we have a very quick and easy application process.
