Job Objectives
Help with all aspects of building rental.
Primary Job Functions
Set up tables, chairs, move furniture when needed. Tear down tables and chairs put away or get out more, if necessary, in between rentals. General cleaning in between rentals, including but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, clean up spills, wash tables and chairs as needed, check restrooms, cleaning and restocking restrooms as necessary, taking out trash.
Secondary Job Functions
Unlocking and locking up doors before and after rentals, checking that entire facility is clear of people before leaving. Turning off lights and any electric cooking devices that may have been left behind or used by renters.
Equipment Knowledge
Knowledge of the use of general cleaning supplies. Use of automated floor scrubber preferred but not necessary.
Critical Skills/Expertise
Organizational skills and general cleanliness preferred
Reporting Requirements
Reports to Director and Assistant Director
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Roll and move large objects like chair racks, table racks, etc. Ability to lift mop bucket into mop sink.
Work Environment
Most work will be completed alone on afternoon or evening of rentals. Exceoptions can be made for working the morning before rentals.
Hours
Position will consist mainly of weekends. Afternoons and evenings and/or early mornings.
