Responsibilities include:
Managing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the City's transportation and construction projects such as roadways, intersections, bridges, retaining walls, culverts, buildings, and other municipal projects.
Salary will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
Civil Engineer I pay range - $75,000. - $99,000.
Civil Engineer with PE certification pay range - $90,000. - $120,000.
The City offers competitive benefits including Parental leave, Virginia Retirement System, medical, dental, and vision as well as eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
