Position Overview:

Are you a high school student aged 16 to 19, residing in La Marque, and looking to gain real-world experience in a professional setting? The City of La Marque is seeking enthusiastic and motivated high school interns to join our team for the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about city operations, develop essential job skills, and make a meaningful impact in your community.

What You'll Do:

As a High School Intern, you will have the chance to work in various departments and take on diverse tasks, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with community events and city projects
• Performing administrative duties and data entry
• Conducting research and compiling reports
• Supporting the customer service team
• Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Contributing to social media and communication efforts
