Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and providing guidance to our team of clinicians.
Responsibilities
A. Administrative
1. Plans and establishes a systematic record keeping system for program statistics, attendance records, staff training, and any other program activity.
2. Monitors quality of overall service delivery and maintenance of accurate record keeping systems by conducting information system, and case file audits on a quarterly basis. Signs off on all clinical documentation.
3. Monitors the scheduling of the psychiatric nurse practitioner and the required toxicology screens for controlled substance prescriptions.
4. Responds in a timely manner to requests for service or information from internal and external sources.
5. Keeps agency administration informed of program status, needs, trends, and any critical incidents.
6. Practices a team approach to program development and clinical input.
B. Supervisory
1. Ensures that the policies, procedures, and services are carried out in the service area.
2. Arranges for agency and unit orientation for all new hires in accordance with agency policy.
3. Establishes a plan for the use of personal leave time and program coverage by all assigned staff in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
4. Approves the acceptance and assignment of new cases.
5. Provides for a system of continuous supervision by organizing individual, consultative and group supervision meetings.
C. Clinical Oversite and Consultation
1. Provides clinical supervision and/or support to therapists, counselors, and others as assigned.
2. Offers consultation as required with regard to legal, ethical, political, and administrative issues pertaining to treatment and prevention.
3. Supports clinicians with difficult cases by assisting them to advocate or refer as needed.
4. Maintains and enforces strict standards of ethics in clinical staff activities.
5. In cooperation with the Chief Operations Officer, ensures that appropriate referrals are made to Protective Services according to the Child Protection Law.
Qualifications
· Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent
· Full clinical licensure Required
· Experience: Two years of directly related experience with at least one year in supervision or administration.
· Special Skills: Social work and counseling techniques with individuals, families and groups.
· Flexibility of work schedule to meet the needs of the program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
