Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or related field with 3 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year of Supervisory experience; OR Master’s in social work, Counseling, or related field plus NYS License with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Degree requirements dependent upon program funding parameters.

• Knowledge of County Resources, Human Services, Care Coordination and Human Resource Management
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary, as well as well-developed oral and written communication skills to lead and interact with a wide variety of people including staff, clientele, and the public.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge to include working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook; experience with electronic health records a plus
• Must be highly motivated, organized, able to manage time appropriately, and able to work independently with good organizational and creative problem skills
• Ability to lead in a team approach, multitask, and delegate as needed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide consistent role modeling, supervision, and support to direct line staff
• Responsible for day-to-day problem solving of client and staff emergencies
• Coordinate and manage agency, staff and program needs with the Program Director and others as needed
• Provide staff orientation and training
• Oversight and approval of programs’ scheduling, staff timecards, mileage
• Be familiar with all program staff functions and available to fill in for absent staff as needed
• Responsible for review of all case documentation, and addressing documentation gaps to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with staff on all assignments
• Attend required meetings as appropriate for program/agency and collaborate with other agencies in the community
• Complete program stats and reporting as required monthly, quarterly, annually
• Perform other duties as directed

Additional Expectations

• Must have valid NYS Driver’s License, an acceptable driving record and adequate insurance.
• Must comply with all Agency policies and procedures.
• Required to understand and abide by the laws, regulations, policies, and procedures that apply to the program or service that you provide.

· Required to report any known or suspected violation of laws, regulations, policies, or procedures related to programs, services, agency operations, or personnel of the agency.

· Required to maintain accurate documentation including, but not limited to, purchase orders, petty cash, expenditures, mileage records, and time sheets

· Attend all trainings as necessary for job performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
