Position Description:

The Carpenter Foreman / Supervisor is responsible for assisting company management in assuring project(s) are completed and maintain the standard of excellence established by the client. This position will perform various trade related tasks, organizing and coordinating tasks, obtain and manage vendors and subcontractors, coordinate bidding processes, place and organize material orders, track and manage costs and coordinate schedules and manage quality expectation within time limits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management of the entirety of multiple contract life cycles concurrently.
• Pre-qualifying subcontractors and bids, quantity takeoff and unit cost comparisons
• Processing subcontractor agreement packages
• Create and manage / update subcontractor and project information
• Physically manage the on-site construction process, document on computer
• Manage pre-construction and project close out checklists and documentation
• Lead jobsite meetings and authorize meeting minutes
• Manage change order process, estimate costs, create and manage logs
• Forecast job cost profitability, review job performance for adherence to forecast.
• Assist upper management as needed with monthly project billings and project related accounting issues
• Obtain various necessary permits from multiple agencies per project as needed
