General Description and Classification Standards

Have a vast knowledge utilizing Maximo. Communication skills for obtaining quotes. Be able to Create Requisitions for Ordering. Skill to perform inspections of repaired equipment. Applies technical and mechanical knowledge when requested. Supplies/Parts/Equipment/Services. Track open POs to ensure accurate receiving and invoices are routed timely to AP for processing. Tracking of warehouse inventory to ensure adequate spare parts and reorder points are set correctly. Knowledge to run Labor Reports Maximo. This is an experienced, skilled or technical level capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the position or specialty with limited guidance or review. This level would be considered a promotional level and attainable by any incumbents in a work group who demonstrate the necessary knowledge, ability, and performance. Could be the only position in this specialty in a work group or could be part of a general or specialized work team. Supervision Received Works under very general supervision. May work independently or with other skilled or semi-skilled workers with responsibility for completion of assigned tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. May perform other duties as assigned. Check in Operations daily obtaining new work request; Attend daily maintenance morning meeting and safety briefing; Obtain quotes from vendors. Create Requisitions for Ordering material and supplies. Calls vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies and recommends purchases and suppliers. Maximo - enter purchase requisitions and create POs for accurate asset management reporting; Maximo - Create, edit, and update assets and PMs as needed; Maximo - Create, edit, and update job plans to ensure technicians have the most up to date and efficient procedures available; Coordinate work activities of plant technicians; Vehicle Inspections - Daily; Maintain Monthly PPE inspection reports; Attend weekly work order coordination meeting; Work Schedules - Email Mechanical, Electrical, Process Control; Email Open Work Order report and completed work order reports to WRC - email to WRC, PC and PC Maintenance Managers; Obtain scopes of work from vendors; read and evaluate blueprints and drawings; Assist supervising projects; Verify work performed by contractors and internal maintenance department.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of Oracle, Maximo, tools, equipment and systems used in the Wastewater Plant; thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and regulations pertaining to maintenance and electrical trade; knowledge of basic computers; knowledge of methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; knowledge of safety precautions to be observed in maintenance and mechanical equipment.; ability to estimate cost, time and materials of work; ability to analyze and respond safely and appropriately to emergency situations; ability to read and comprehend plans and blueprints; ability to train and direct the work of other classified staff in the area; ability to follow and give oral and written instructions; ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

High School Diploma

4 Years of related experience in a commercial, industrial, or Wastewater facilities operations setting.

Licensures and Certifications

Valid State of Georgia Driver's License required.
