CEIA USA is Hiring an Applications Engineer, Induction Near Hudson, OH

Essential Functions:

  1. Pre-sales support of existing and potential induction/industrial customers including but not limited to demos, trials, technical and sales presentations
  2. You will identify the right CEIA solution(s) suitable to the customer’s needs.
  3. Post-sales support of existing and potential customers, including but not limited to installations, training, product validation and maintenance
  4. Prospecting and qualifying customers in a region.
  5. Reporting activities via trip reports, CRM data entry, and company calendar
  6. Trade show preparation and participation in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  7. Being available to give the Marketing Manager your inputs as de-facto customer expert
  8. Be the technical experts on our equipment and address customers technical concerns and questions, via phone, e-mail or in person
  9. Coordinate and execute the installation of our equipment at customers' sites
  10. Responsible for customer’s equipment repairs. 
  11. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance, including managing our relationship with customers in need of technical help and owning the RMA process inside our database (Great Plains)
  12. Support sales with technical assistance to determine what possible solutions match customers' requirements
  13. Assistance with the set-up of exhibitions (i.e., trade shows) and possibly set­ up for customer demonstrations
  14. Prepares and builds custom coils that meet customer specifications
  15. Repairs custom coils

 Work Environment: 

This job operates in a warehouse office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position is also exposed to a warehouse environment where the employee is may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. 

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.

Specific vision abilities are required by this position that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel:

Domestic and International travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Overnight travel is required.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology preferably in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a Heat Treat or metals related engineering position

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Previous mechanical, electrical and electronic manufacturing experience.
  • Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of Company’s Induction products.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
    • Strong knowledge of Electronics Theory and/or and strong mechanical aptitude
    • Familiarity with manufacturing
    • Induction heating experience a strong plus
    • Knowledge of brazing, soldering, and/or heat treating a plus
  • Previous experience in relevant industry.
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic manufacturing environment
