CareOnSite is Hiring an Athletic Trainer Near Waterloo, IA

CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide, has excellent opportunities for a highly motivated Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer will prevent injuries through the use of devices and education, recognize and evaluate injuries, provide emergency care and rehabilitate injured employees.
Pay Rate: $22 - $30 / hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Onsite care and management of work and non-work related injuries and illnesses including prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation
Assess risk of injury, perform ergonomic evaluation and coaching, self-care implementation and overall wellness promotion
Develops treatment and exercise plans with periodic re-evaluation of plans to ensure maximum patient benefit
Proactively create a culture of personal health and responsibility through the development, distribution, delivery and posting of educational materials and workshops
Work in conjunction with \health and safety/medical teams to review and/or develop new occupational medical protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations;
Integrates with the client and participates in client meetings and committees
Documents patient treatment per professional and regulatory standards and ensures the security of sensitive records is maintained at all times
Qualifications
BOC certified and state Athletic Training licensure
Active Basic Life Support & CPR certification
2 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer in an occupational medicine setting
Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to patient's needs
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training
