Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teamwork, Support, and Process

  • Work with project managers to ensure that all aspects of a project are on track and within the requested timeframe. 
  • Facilitates communication between project team members and clients. 
  • Serve as a coordinator for a team of consultants by assisting with the development of reports and specifications, including providing data entry and quality control support for reports and corresponding project content. Spelling, grammar, and layout of internal and external deliverables.
  • Responsible for accuracy, clarity, and timely completion of final documents. 
  • Work with project team(s) to meet client objectives and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Assist with monitoring the daily progress of projects. 
  • Prepare and organize key documents (reports, invoices, contracts, financial files, etc.) for access by project team members. 
  • Plan project meetings and coordinate project-related logistics. 
  • Work both independently and within a team on a variety of projects. 
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, and prioritize accordingly. Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Other responsibilities requested or required as part of the project support team, including general office management tasks.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams, etc.), and PDF Xchange Editor. 
  • Ability to collaborate with a team that is both remote and in person. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking capabilities and technical ability. 
  • Technically inclined to learn industry-specific and company-specific software as appropriate. 
  • Driven, self-motivated and positive-minded person. 
  • Passion for learning and must be able to work and learn independently as well as in a team environment. 

Communication

  • Encourages and directs the flow of communication and fosters relationships throughout the company and with our vendors/clients.
  • Proactively communicates with teammates and leadership to effectively balance workload and manage deadlines.

SPECIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Prior experience in a professional services support or a project coordination role (minimum of 2 years). 
  • Proven relationship builder and communicator (verbal and written). 
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 

Preferred

  • Minimum of 2-year degree or equivalent associated experience. 
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Benchmark uses Deltek Vision. 
  • Experience working in a related field/industry (engineering, construction, architecture, professional services, etc.). 
  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
