We are looking for an experienced medical front desk person who is kind, honest and has the ability to multi-task for office in Atascocita (Northeast Harris County).

Ideal candidates have 3 years of experience in a fast-paced multiple doctor office utilizing electronic medical records. Strong communication skills in person and over the phone. Fluency in English & Spanish preferred.

Tasks include:

• Patient Check-In/Check-Out
• Scheduling Appointments
• Verifying benefit coverage
• Assisting patients to understand their insurance & our paperwork.
• Answering and distributing incoming telephone calls.
• Optimizing patient flow, physician schedules and patient appointments.
• Medical terminology
• Patient confidentiality
• Accounts receivable
• Electronic health records management
• Experience in a Vision Care environment is a big plus but not required.

This is a full-time position based primarily in Atascocita, Texas. Employees for these locations are on a rotating schedule that will typically involve 5 workdays that may include one evening shift (6 p.m.)/week and 1-2 Saturdays a month.
