Ashley Hills Pet Center is located in Monroe, GA. offering dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and training. We are looking to hire a motivated, compassionate and dependable part time Grooming Assistant. This position does not require experience, but it is preferred. This is also a position that you should have a strong interest in potentially making a career.

Responsibilities:

-Bathing, brushing and blow drying pets

- Trimming nails and anal gland expression

- Assist groomer with safely restraining dogs for haircuts

-Cleaning & Sanitizing work space

-Keeping track of inventory and products

-Experienced candidates may also be responsible for grooming prep such as sanitary trims and mini grooms

Requirements:

- Ability to safely lift/ push/ pull 50 pounds

-Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds

-Drivers License preferred

-Sundays are required

-Holidays are also required (paid overtime)

-Strong communications skills

-Team player and ability to pay close attention to detail

Saturday 8-13:30

Sunday 4-6 PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
