Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities
· Receiving and documenting merchandise for stock.
· Loading and offloading of trucks.
· Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
· Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
· Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment such as a forklift.
· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders properly.
· Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
· Ability to communicate clearly.
· Basic computer skills will train in the proper use of software and RF scan guns.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
· Operates forklift truck as needed.
· Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
· Performs other related duties as directed
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
· Ability to move around the warehouse.
