Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment repair technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various repair techniques and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Follow preventative maintenance schedules, assist with maximizing machine productivity by keeping the presses lines running to quality specs and working in all 3 buildings
• Perform troubleshooting to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Follow code requirements when installing or repairing devices or components
• Conduct repairs on a variety of equipment and machinery
• Work with both low and high voltage systems and perform electrical repairs (previous experience required)
• Maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment
• Utilize a voltmeter to diagnose electrical issues
• Utilize stick and Mig welding and fabrication skills for repair work (TIG is a plus)
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking repairs (yes or no)
• Operate manual machine tools (mill, lathe, surface grinder) to fabricate and repair machine parts to print

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• Experience machining and fabricating parts for machine repair
• Coil handling equipment lines and stamping presses (preferred)
• Expertise in mechanical, high-voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in stick & MIG welding techniques

- Knowledge of low voltage systems (24v DC to 480v AC)
- 15 years of Experience as an industrial mechanic
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to analyze equipment malfunctions and failures effectively
- Experience with CMMS software (plus)
- Ability to use a voltmeter for diagnostics
- Capability to fabricate/machine/repair parts and components as needed

Schedule may be flexible to shift as needed but will include involvement with both 1st and 2nd shift.
