Adelante Mujeres is Hiring a Culturally Specific Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) Near Hillsboro, OR

The Culturally Specific Qualified Mental Health Provider within Adelante Mujeres' Esperanza program collaborates within a diverse team to deliver comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy, while adhering to professional boundaries. They collaborate with participants to create individualized service goals and objectives. Employing a culturally specific approach, they navigate the complex dynamic of socio-political and cultural influences, ensuring holistic care for participants. This position reports to the Esperanza Clinical Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete comprehensive Mental Health Assessments utilizing DSM-5-TR to develop clinical formulation.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with participants, by writing measurable service objectives, monitoring progress, and revising service plans.
  • Provide culturally specific mental health services, individual and family therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions.
  • Develops safety plans, provides suicide risk assessment and intervention in collaboration with participants.
  • Develop curriculum to facilitate psycho-education groups for participants.
  • Use culturally specific lenses to guide all aspects of service delivery, ensuring that the impact of socio-political & cultural factors is consistently considered.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Science field.
  • Must meet state guidelines for QMHP
  • Must have or be able to obtain pre-licensed status such as Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) OR professional counselor associate, OR marriage and family therapist associate OR be licensed in the state of Oregon and have active status within their licensing board.
  • Bilingual and Bicultural in Spanish & English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment, and the environment.
  • Ability to render services and supports within their scope of practice to individuals engaged in an approved behavioral health service program
Additional Requirements
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical accommodation.

  • Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or training.
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • Salary Range: $64K - $66K annually, depending on qualifications AND $3K Hiring Bonus payable after 6 months of employment.
  • Classification: Full-time, Salaried
  • Telework: 1-2 days a week, based on program need and supervisor approval
  • Free Licensure supervision toward LCSW provided.
