Crew Boat Operators will be responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of the fleet, infrastructure and equipment moored in the fleet. Safely operate a work boat (at designated fleets) to inspect and repair all moorings and spar barges. Provide support to logistics, operations, and vessel reliability departments. Works various schedules as determined by each fleet.

Work schedule will be 4 days on 4 days off and working 12-hour days.

Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make an IMPACT!

• Take supplies, vendors, crew members, and office team members to vessel
• General maintenance of crew boat (oil changes, changing filters, etc.)
• Dock Maintenance (sweeping, cleaning, painting, etc.)
• Assist with Warehouse activities (moving supplies, coordinating supplies for vessel use)
• Tracks incoming vessels, tie off status, tow location and coordinating office team members to the vessels.
• Exhibits and demonstrates integrity, mutual care, personal responsibility, agility, customer focus and teamwork.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications - What You Will Bring to the ACBL Team

• TWIC card required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Adheres to all American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) policies, United States Coast Guard (USCG) and environmental regulations
• Effectively uses all safety equipment as required by ACBL policies, such as hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, flashlights, life jackets or work vest and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and warnings associated with materials required for boat maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep.
