AB MAURI FOOD INC is Hiring an A/R Specialist Near St. Louis, MO
Position Objective:
Protect Company accounts receivable assets through diligent collection efforts, accurate customer cash application and timely resolution of customer deductions. Coordinate timely review of customer credit limits.
Key Result Areas:
Performance Standards
Accounts Receivable
- Apply customer payments in a timely and accurate manner, reconciling back to bank deposits.
- Identify, research and resolve customer deductions in a timely manner.
- Process credit and debit memos in a timely manner.
- Monitor assigned customer payment performance minimizing dollars over thirty (30) days past due.
- Develop customer relationships with AP and other appropriate personnel to insure timely invoice payment. Provide timely customer communication on outstanding collection issues through use of email, phone or other correspondence.
- Interface with internal customers to identify and resolve past due invoices, delivery dates and unidentified or unauthorized customer invoice deductions.
- Develop recommendation and monitor process for establishing customer credit lines. Coordinate customer credit reviews at least once a year for assigned accounts.
- Maintain and update customer files with accurate details, information and history, when requested or as necessary. Communicate changes to other systems that need the change information. Maintain Customer Tax Exemption Certificate files.
- Lead the daily credit holds process for assigned customers keeping the sales organization fully informed on pending customer orders with credit holds.
- Supply other vendors with credit information on mutual customers on an as needed basis.
- Assist with Month End Close assignments, including reconciling Accounts Receivable to General Ledger.

A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
- Associates degree in any business-related field with some accounting, finance or other equivalent experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of credit analysis and collections experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Initiative/ability work through issues or present solutions, improvements.
- Literacy with automated accounting business systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Working knowledge of PC and spreadsheet application software.
Working Conditions
- Normal office working environment.
Other Factors
- Minimal travel may be required.
