Friction Materials Machine Operator

Job Description:

The Friction Materials Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of friction materials. This includes setting up machines, monitoring their operation, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency. The operator will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the machines and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following all safety protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
