CCIE - Network Architect

CCIE certification is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for the position of Network Architect will have proven experience deploying and managing large-scale global networks, with focus on performance optimization and scalability, and will have the following areas of responsibility:

Engineering: Proposing and implementing network enhancements, including software and hardware updates that will improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the network.

Architecture: Working hand-in-hand with other technical teams to constantly evolve and improve our current network landscape. Researching and trying out new network technologies and ideas will be critical to the growth of the company.

Project Management: Managing individual network projects within the scope of the Network Team and our company-wide initiatives.

Support: Providing SME/expert troubleshooting support to the network support team. Rotating on-call support required.

CCIE certification is must.

Technical Qualifications: (education, years of experience etc.)

• 10 years hands on experience with LAN protocols
• 10 years in-depth experience with MPLS, Point-to- Point, RIPv2, OSPF, BGP-4, EGP, SNMP (V1/V2/V3)
• 10 years experience with large L2/L3 network design and deployment
• A thorough understanding of general networking and the Internet; and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
• 3 years of hands on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and routers
• 3 years of hands on experience with Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers
• Juniper experience a plus
• Demonstrated expertise and/or a proven record of success with leading efforts emphasizing the design and development of Data Networks (WAN, LAN, WLAN, WWAN)
• Design, setup and configure complex switching environments
• Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
• Network Security Engineering (Policies, Proxies, Authentication, 802.1x etc)
• Experienced with IPsec, Dynamic and Route Based VPN tunnels
• Monitoring configuration: sFlow, jflow, Netflow, trace options and packet captures
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
