JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our team. As a Content Editor, you will play a key role in producing, editing, and uploading content to our YouTube channel. Additionally, you will provide support for live broadcasts, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality viewer experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Content Production and Editing:
• Collaborate with content creators to develop creative ideas and concepts for video content.
Review and provide feedback on scripts, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Edit raw footage to create polished and engaging videos, incorporating graphics, music, and other elements as needed.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all content produced for the YouTube channel.
2. YouTube Channel Management:
• Manage the company's YouTube channel, including uploading videos, scheduling releases, and optimizing video descriptions and tags for SEO.
• Stay informed about YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain the channel's competitiveness and visibility.
3. Live Broadcast Support:
• Assist with the planning and preparation for live broadcasts, coordinating with on-air talent, technical staff, and other team members.
• Monitor live streams in real-time, ensuring technical stability, audio/video quality, and adherence to broadcast schedules.
• Troubleshoot any issues or disruptions that may arise during live broadcasts, implementing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES;
• Bilingual English and Korean (spoken and written) for communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience as a Content Editor, Video Editor, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your editing skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of YouTube's content management system (CMS) and best practices for channel optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with live streaming platforms and broadcast production is a plus.
• Comfortable with video and audio content creation, and willing to experiment with storytelling formats.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues in other coverage areas.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a keen analytical mindset and a drive for rapid learning in the industry.
