Overview:
We are seeking a team member with a positive outlook in an often fast paced work environment to join our team at POSITIVE PIE in Plainfield. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. Part time hours Wednesday-Sunday. Day/evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences(safely handling high temp ovens)

-Food prep(including making pizza dough, and preparing any/all prep needed for the pizza line)
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pizza line
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Provide customer service as needed

Requirements:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred.
- Some knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, including dough stretching and tossing
- Familiarity with using pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with the rest of the team and take customer orders

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
