POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our manufactured products. The Quality Technician will conduct thorough quality control inspections, checks, and tests throughout the production process. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our goal of delivering top-notch storage solutions to our clients worldwide. At Engineered Products, safety is paramount, so this role demands a keen adherence to safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining product quality.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct quality control inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
• Perform batch testing, and other assessments to maintain product safety and integrity.
• Utilize inspection techniques to identify flaws and deviations in materials and products.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections, test results, and potential issues for quality assurance records.
• Assist in equipment calibrations and workstation audits to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in batch testing, quality control/testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting inspections and communicating with team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• General work experience, with a moderate understanding of quality control/testing practices.
• Additional training or certifications in quality assurance processes and methodologies is a plus.
