CAS Cable is Hiring an Accountant Near Dunbar, WV
CAS Cable is a growing provider of broadband services in the Mid-Ohio-Valley and expanding to Kanawha County. We are seeking to hire an Accountant for our Dunbar location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare invoices and billing statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Conduct month end and year end close processes
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Handle tax preparation and filing activities
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions accurately
- Payroll processing
- Input invoices and prepare checks for payment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
- Understanding of tax procedures and compliance
- Knowledge of debits, credits, and financial statements
- Technical expertise in financial accounting
