The Stewart/Perry Company is a general contractor for an array of commercial construction projects throughout the southeast with an emphasis on commercial and retail construction. We are in need of a Superintendent who has experience with ground up big box retail and shopping centers. These projects range in value from $10m-$50m with a duration of 11–18 months. This candidate must be able to travel within the southeast and we prefer the candidate also live within the southeast.
All resumes must include a list of the last five (5) to ten (10) years of construction projects where you were the project superintendent. We prefer someone with ground up retail construction experience.
Our project superintendents and our project managers work as a team to ensure quality services for our client. They coordinate and supervise work on site including subcontractor activity, safety, and scheduling. Superintendents interact with our clients regularly and are vital to a project’s success.
We give a great deal of autonomy to superintendents as professionals, and value both collaboration and leadership. Stewart/Perry places an emphasis on long-term relationships with our field leadership team and our customer relationships.

Stewart/Perry has a weekly per diem for traveling superintendents. Stewart/Perry offers BCBS Health Insurance, and a 401(K) plan with matching funds. Stewart/Perry offers a competitive weekly per diem for superintendents.
Stewart/Perry offers the opportunity for additional compensation after the first year. Additional compensation would be in addition to the salary range posted. The salary within the quoted salary range will depend on experience level and qualifications of the candidate.
In 1984, Stewart/Perry began operations primarily focused on retail construction services. Today, the company provides services within several other sectors as well. Our management team consists of building and financial professionals, operating from a headquarters situated on a 16-acre campus. We have provided building services in 23 states, and we are registered or hold a license in 29 states. Single project customers are as important to the company as those with multiple project requirements in different geographic areas. Depending on the needs of the client, our services include Preconstruction Services, General Contracting, Design-Build, Construction Management (CM) and Civil Management.
