Job Summary: 

The primary responsibility of our Receptionist is to facilitate the communications functions of our hospice and to provide clerical support.

What You Will Do Every Day:

• You will facilitate the communications system which includes mail distribution, phone system, memo, incoming calls, documents and disseminates appropriate messages. 
• Provide clerical support which includes preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets, monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, special projects, filing and copying.
• Promotes the agency philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to patients/families, physicians and community agencies.
• Offer the best in customer service when directing calls and assisting others. 
• Providing computer support and data entry. 
• Communicate with patients/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintain confidentiality.

Education, Experience, and Certifications Needed:

• You will need to be a High School Graduate, with an applicable college degree preferred
• One year general office experience
• Excellent computer skills required, excellent interpersonal and organizational skill
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Excellent phone skills
