A Step Above is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Skilled Laborer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a dedication to safety and quality. In this role, you’ll be part of our highly skilled team providing property maintenance services for Truckee and North Lake Tahoe clients. The position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks at client properties, including yard work, defensible space clearing, hand snow removal, shoveling, furniture moving, car detailing, garage cleaning and organization, debris removal, and roof and gutter cleaning.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Load and deliver materials to job sites/client homes.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and clients as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong work ethic, including punctuality and accountability.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform strenuous tasks.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors under a variety of conditions.
• Organized and reliable with a positive, professional attitude.
• Committed to delivering quality service with strong attention to detail.
• Proven handyman experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
