CVP is Hiring an Enterprise Architect Near Washington, DC

Job DescriptionCVP seeks an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join a highly impactful team supporting a major government client.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic technical consulting on Enterprise Architecture creation to executives and C-suite level customers, preferably Federal.
  • Communicate effectively to a wide range of technical acumen.
  • Provide thought leadership and help define strategic and tactical vision to improve mission efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the development and compliance of high-level system architectures, continue development of reference architecture documentation, and develop innovative, sustainable data architecture approaches.
  • Identify next generation concepts and lead research and prototyping efforts to evaluate new technologies, tools, and processes.
  • Present and defend technical decisions made by the team.
Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to obtain a DOD Secret clearance (US Citizenship Required)
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe® ).
  • 5-7 years of experience in a practical, hands on engineering role including design and development of large-scale enterprise architectures.
  • Experience as a client facing consultant with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • 3 years of experience with public cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • 3 years of experience with DevOps, continuous integration/deployment/delivery approaches and tooling, including Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub or similar tools.
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning
  • Experience with software development life cycle processes or Agile development, including Scrum, Kanban, rapid prototyping, or similar rapid development environment.
  • 2 years of experience with container runtime technologies and cluster management/deployment tools, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft, Google, OpenShift, etc.
  • Experience providing strategic technical consulting to executives and C-suite level customers, preferably Federal.
